Master in Public Management & Economics (Hanoi) PRINT THIS PAGE

This two year Master in Public Management program is designed to educate managers, policy-makers and civil servants working in the public sector. Its purpose is to provide in-depth knowledge about organization and management of the government and the public sector. The program investigates policies to develop and manage local territory.

The aim of the program is not to provide a handbook of public management and of successful State modernization; the program is designed to implicate students in a broader reflection about management in the specific context of the public sector. Instead of listing concrete solutions to specific problems, the program focuses on a better understanding of the problem to help managers find an appropriate solution.

The courses are organized of non-working hours on weekdays or during weekends. All courses use Solvay Business School - ULB teaching curricula, both in structure and content. Selection of candidates starts with foundation courses taught by Vietnamese professors. Courses take place every evening, comprising 6 to 9 lessons of 3 hours. On average, there is a course each month for the first 18 months of the program. The last 6 months are dedicated to the final thesis.
